Facelifting in Munich and Starnberg with PD Dr. Max Geishauser
Are you interested in a facelift by an experienced plastic surgeon? Then let private lecturer Dr. Geishauser advise you.
Since faces are different the patients’ wishes for changes and goals are different and the ideas, experience and the technical skills of the surgeons differ. There are a large number of different facelift procedures.
Which facelift variants are there?
Subcutaneous facelift Tightening of the facial skin only
SMAS-lifting Tightening of the connective tissue under the skin (superficial musculo-aponeurotic system) and the facial skin
extended-SMAS-lifting extended tightening of the connective tissue under the skin (superficial musculo-aponeurotic system) and the facial skin
MACS-lifting Minimal access facelift. Here, the use of stabilising internal sutures minimises the internal wound area,
Subperiosteal facelift Straffung Tightening of the facial soft tissues with partial lifting from the bone
Mid-face lift Tightening and lifting of the soft tissues of the cheeks, can be done very gently from a lower eyelid incision
What do our patients say?
Facelift with volume restoration
If you compare a youthful and an older face, you will notice that the volume in the face is distributed differently. The earlier (and still visible in public) attempts to bring the sagging soft tissues back to their former place by pulling on the skin always ended up in distortions of the facial geometry.
Today, the best results – which can hardly be perceived as surgery – are often achieved by a combination of volume replacement and tightening.
Volume replacement with:
- Filler (hyaluronic acid – HA)
- Micro fat transplantation
Here you find further treatment options
- Forehead lift
