Are you interested in lip contouring with hyaluronic acid? Then PD Dr. Max Geishauser in Munich and Starnberg is the right place for you.
With lip injections, the volume of the lips can be filled and the contours emphasised and modelled.
Advantages of lip injections
Beautifully shaped lips with clear and full contours are highlights on the face! They have an emotional and sensual effect.
Lip injections with hyaluronic acid are a standard procedure for modelling the lips. We do not simply stand for more volume, but for an aesthetic analysis of the face and for targeted measures on and around the lips. We will not simply inject your lips, but contour them, even out asymmetries, restore and refine contours. And beautify the lips to enhance the expression of the face.

Our methods for lip injections
Different variations are possible for lip injections
- Injection of the upper lip
- Injection of the lower lip
- Injection of the upper and lower lip
- Enlargement of the lip volume
- Compensation of lip wrinkles
- Precise lip modelling
- Building up and supporting the edge of the lips
- Compensation of asymmetries and irregularities
In all those variations, the lip is injected with hyaluronic acid. After some time, the body breaks down the hyaluronic acid on its own. It is possible to treat only the upper lip or the lower lip or both in combination.
What do our patients say?
Important questions about lip injections in Munich
What should you pay attention to after lip injections?
After lip injections, the lip should be cooled sufficiently to reduce or completely prevent swelling. Immediately after the treatment, you should not touch the lip for a few hours, as this could lead to deformation. You should refrain from sports for at least 24 hours. You should also avoid sauna and solarium visits as well as sunbathing for about one to two weeks.
What is the procedure for lip injections?
Before the lip injection we will have a detailed consultation with you. During this consultation we will compare your wishes with what is technically possible. We will also clarify all your questions and inform you about possible risks.
During lip injections, hyaluronic acid is injected into the lip with fine needles. The procedure only takes about half an hour to an hour and is usually done on an outpatient basis. The lip is anaesthetised superficially with an ointment or local anaesthetic. The result can be seen immediately after the procedure.
How long does it take to heal after lip injections?
Swelling that occurs after lip injections usually disappears within a few hours, but at the latest after a few days. The healing process can be accelerated by regular cooling.
How often do I have to repeat the lip injections?
The effect of the hyaluronic acid lasts for about 7 to 10 months. In most cases, the hyaluronic acid is broken down more quickly after the initial treatment than during subsequent treatments. Subsequently, the treatment must be repeated in order to achieve a long-term result.
What are the costs for lip injections?
As the costs depend on the exact extent of the treatment, it is not possible to make a general statement. You will therefore find out the price for your personal lip injection during a consultation in our practice.
Is it possible to finance lip injections?
Of course, financing is also possible. We will be happy to advise you on this. Just get in touch with us.
What are the risks of lip injections?
Like any other procedure, lip injections are associated with risks. In rare cases, the hyaluronic acid can cause intolerances or allergies. In addition, the wound healing process can be disturbed. Bruising or swelling at the injection sites is more common. However, these disappear on their own.
