Body lift – Bodylifting in Munich and Starnberg with PD Dr. Max Geishauser
Are you looking for a circumferential body lift – bodylifting in Munich or Starnberg? The specialist PD Dr. Max Geishauser will be happy to advise you.
In a lower body lift, the abdomen is tightened and the body silhouette corrected as in an abdominoplasty (tummy tuck), but in addition the back is also tightened. This makes the operation larger, but the results are often even better. The tightening is circular, i.e. it affects the entire torso: “circumferential body-lifting”.
The term upper body lift is sometimes used – not quite correctly – to describe the tightening of the chest, arms, neck and face. We use the term here in the sense of the lower body lift.
The enormous progress that plastic surgery has made in the last decade is evident in the body lift. Whereas surgery times of 6 – 10 hours used to be the order of the day, today they range between 3 and 4 hours – with only minimal blood loss, much gentler anaesthesia and thus much less stress for the patient. And much shorter recovery and convalescence times.
How does a body lift work?
The abdominal wall and soft tissues are tightened. Excess skin is removed and the abdomen is shaped with special fat removal techniques or liposuction. The mons pubis and groin are tightened, resulting in a more youthful appearance of the body.
The flanks and thus the waist are shaped and the back is tightened. Using various techniques, the buttocks can be lifted, tightened and, if necessary, relined.
Especially in the case of lax skin or after severe weight loss, the best results can be achieved in this way with well justifiable effort and considerably reduced stress for the patient.
